The Best Workout To Lose Weight

The best workout to lose weight is the workout that you *actually* enjoy doing. Because let’s be real.. When you enjoy your workout you are consistent with it and we know that consistency is the key ingredient to results.

However, there are certain workout styles that will torch some major cals as opposed to others, like a soothing yoga class, that won’t give you that same blood-pumping, sweat-dripping effect.

My go-to class when I just want to kick my heart rate up, feel strong AF and get that Stretchy Babe Sparkle going is a HIIT class.

HIIT stands for High Intensity Interval Training – this type of class is going to be short, vigorous bursts of exercise with small recovery periods. This keeps your heart rate up and that is what produces the continuous calorie burn (even once you’ve finished your workout.) My best advice? Have a towel and water close by and take breaks when you need to!
