Blood Juice

Juicing is the best way to boost your vitamins and minerals on a daily basis. It helps to detoxify the cells in your body too. I really love this recipe because the flavor is so rich and satisfying. I just got over having the flu and I swear it’s because I stopped juicing for about a month. But I’m back! And not letting anything get me sick! My skin clears up too when I juice 🙂

As always, I make a ton all at once and save the rest for the next couple of days. It’s the best way to save time and energy!

ingredients

Makes 4-5 servings

  • 4 small beet roots
  • 10 carrots
  • 1 small apple
  • 1 big bunch of kale
  • Medium piece of ginger root (peeled)
  • 1 lemon with skin on

directions

wash and dry all the vegetables. peel the ginger, and juice first. anything that’s left of the ginger will be juiced with the remainder of the other vegetables, so that’s why I like juicing the ginger first! then juice the beets, even it’s entire green stems, then the kale, apple, and lemon. bottle up and save for up to 3-5 days. enjoy!
