This Swiss Chard dish makes a great side dish on any occasion. It’s fairly easy to do, and has minimal ingredients, and has a ton of flavor. I made this for Thanksgiving for 12 people, and we had lots of left overs, so adjust the recipe to your needs!

prep time: 10- 20 minutes
ingredients:
- 6 lbs organic swiss chard
- 1/2 ginger
- 7 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp coconut oil or grass-fed butter
- 1 onion
directions:
- wash and thoroughly dry all of your organic swiss chard
- peel and grate half the ginger
- chop the onion
- chop 7 cloves of garlic
- heat the skillet to medium heat, and let the coconut oil or butter melt in the pan
- place the onion, garlic, and ginger in the heated skillet
- cook ingredients in the pan until onions are soft
- loosely chop the chard
- place the chopped chard into the pan
- place the lid on to steam the greens
- uncover and mix around until soft
