Day 4!
Today’s theme in FORWARD FOLD, is LETTING GO.
Creating space in your body is a job that only you can do, for yourself, with yourself.
It takes daily practice, dedication, and a willingness to LET GO.
Let go of limiting beliefs that you have about your body and about yourself.
Whisper to yourself that you are flexible, open, and free.
Our bodies listen to what we say, so speak and think words of positivity, and keep your mind in the realm of what’s possible.
I’ll admit, what brought me to the mat was solely to do cool poses.
What kept me on the mat, was the work I explored in my mind.
Many times tightness is a consequence of holding on, and armoring, feelings and thoughts that are no longer serving you.
Let go of what doesn’t serve you.
What does that mean? It means it’s time to purge your mind of thoughts, feelings, names, definitions, profiles, fears – that are not adding to your growth. It’s like purging your closet.
Let go of those old clothes you’ve had sitting there, collecting dust, or that shirt someone gave you that is not even your style.
People tell you you’re a certain way, but that may not be true anymore.
You get to define who you are now, not anyone else.
The invisible barriers you create for yourself to keep yourself safe.
Let it go.
The limiting beliefs about yourself.
Let it go.
The negative thoughts and judgments you have on your body.
Let it go.
In today’s stretches, sit silently with yourself, for yourself.
Inhale YOUR Truth
Exhale All that does not serve your mind, body, and soul
