This Thanksgiving was nice and relaxed. My family is traditionally a family that cooks everything from scratch, so Wednesday and Thursday consisted of hours and hours of cooking. My feet hurt from standing so long! But trust me, it was worth it. Every recipe that you see, I suggest doubling or tripling so that you can have leftovers for a few days. It’s the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I’m still enjoying leftovers 🙂 That’s the absolute best! Leave a comment below on what you like and let me know if you try it!Â
In the photos you’ll see my mom, sister, aunt, grandma and grandfather. My grandparents are originally from Mexico, so my grandma and mom work magic in the kitchen! But neither of them write down their recipes!! I follow in their footsteps and love helping in the kitchen and preparing food for the family, but I’m doing my best to keep a record of my recipes to refer to later! Which is what this blog is all about 🙂 Cooking to me is therapeutic, and there’s nothing more rewarding than someone enjoy the meal that you just prepared. Hope you enjoy!! 🙂 Â
