A great healthy meal that I just discovered is Spaghetti Squash with Lean Turkey Ground and Marinara sauce. It’s a great substitute if you love pasta!
Spaghetti Squash is only 42 calories per Cup, and very low in sugar. It’s so easy to make too. Here’s how:
STEP 1: I pop the whole spaghetti squash in the oven for about 30-45minutes.
STEP 2: Then I saute onions and mushrooms with the turkey ground.
STEP 3: When the squash is done, cut it in half and scoop out the seeds. Then take a fork and scrape out the yellow squash. It is so cool because it scrapes out like little noodles, and you feel like you are actually eating spaghetti!
STEP 4: Put the turkey mix over the spaghetti squash, top it off with some organic marinara sauce and maybe a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
